Black Jersey Giant

I got a Black Jersey Giant rooster today.. and let me tell you HE IS HUGE! Even my turkey looks smaller then him. Pictures don't give him any justice.

I'm not sure.. I'd have to weight him. He feels about as heavy as my turkey. They say the roosters weigh 13 pounds.

We think one of our baby chicks might actually be a cockerel instead of a pullet. Started making a weird sound (pseudo crow??) to be let out of coop in the morning. We never had chickens before - can you enlighten us what to expect with a Black Jersey Giant rooster? How is temperment & noise?? Thanks Nancy
