We have a few mellow roos to rehome. We were waiting for them to get obnoxious before unloading or eating them, but they are carefully avoiding being obnoxious -- don't quarrel with each other, don't harass the hens, and haven't even crowed. Still pretty sure they're roos (the Cuckoo has the big curled butt feathers already). But the winter coop is rather crowded, so we thought we'd give them a shot at the not-being-eaten version of life. If you're just planning to eat them, don't bother -- we can do that.
