Black Marans?

Hi, I have what I think are Black Marans and I know for sure one is a roo but I'm wondering about the other two. Can pullets' feathers have a irredesant green sheen to them? Thank you in advance for any answers

Welcome!! I see you have 9 posts. With 10, you are able to upload pictures and in order to get a good idea of genders, pictures of comb, side body shot and whole bird are very helpful!

I had that same question about greenish sheen for my SLW two years ago. My silver laced wyandottes had a greenish tinge to them. They were all pullets!

So, the answer is yes! Even if they are pullets!

Yea!!

I am just starting a small flock, with birds I bought straight run from a breeder. Of the 10, I believe at least 4 are roos including my SLW and GLW. Very disappointed, but there is still hope for the other 6!! Thank you for your quick response.
