Black or white silkies - which look grubbier in their natural state?

The general concensus amonst silkie breeders is that tha vast amjority of silkies will not choose to roost. An occasional few will, and they can sometimes be taught to roost--either by regularly placing them on a roost or by housing them with other breeds that have and use roosts. More of my boys will roost than will my girls, who are rarely interested, but then I have one girl who roosts higher than her polish rooster coopmate.
