Black Orpington???

I thought our Orpingtons were supposed to be all black when they feathered out? What is all the white about? We were supposed to have 3 black and 2 Buff Orpingtons.

It looks like a Plymouth Rock or a barred rock. Defiantly not a black Orpington.

These birds are Barred Plymouth Rocks, not Black Orpingtons.

That would explain the personality difference between the Buffs and these other three. They are not as friendly. Is there a chance that they might be Cuckoo Orpingtons? They were labeled on there cage Black Orpingtons.

They are Barred Rocks. Even Cuckoo Orpingtons would have whitish legs.

Well, there goes the flock of Orpingtons I envisioned. Oh well. From what I have now read on them they sound nice too.... just not as fluffy.
