Black Orpingtons....who? where?

I am interested in getting some large black orpingtons. Maybe this year, but most likely next year.
Any suggestions where I can find them?

If you want truly black look for breeder that only breeds black. They will have better color, than with ones in with blue and splash..The green Sheen will be much better on the blacks.

Ive looked myself they are tuff to come by. I got 2 from an old timer up my way and we are using them to breed with our lavender orp roo. He wouldnt sell us any but let me use two of his hens for our lavender project. So we will have to give them up when finished hatching out what we need.

Brian, did you try Catalpa Grove Farms yet? They may be sold out for most of the year already, but other than Sandhill, they are the main ones I think of.
