A few days ago my 3.5 week (I said 4.5 in an earlier post. Haven't been keeping good track of their age) old Rouens ate some plastic (I know for sure one did). I gave them some mineral oil and some grit the day after since it was the end of the day. I gave them some minnows as treats that day and near the end of the day I noticed some black poop. And today as well. I only see the poop when I bring them in for the night. Not sure if it's normal or not. They're still their usual selves (which sometimes involves sitting around and not doing duck things unless I'm near them), drinking and eating plenty and chatty.
They got a little bit of their feed into it since that's the only way I could get them into the coop.
