Hello!!
I know I seem like I come on here with lots of concerns, but it’s my first time with chickens. I’m a bit of a novice.
Anyways, I noticed my chickens have really dark almost black colored droppings, and they’ve only laid two eggs today instead of the usual six.
The droppings are normal size and shape with the white frothy thing on top, just super dark.
I recently switched to an 18% protein food instead of their usual 16%, but it’s in a self feeder so it’s not like the food has been switched quickly.
Could that be the cause?
