Black Sabbath

The black chicken /Roo's feathers reflect blue, green and purple. He is beautiful. Any idea about the breed? He is 8-9 weeks old. Starting to crow in the am and evening.

I don't know....BUT....he sure is handsome!

That he is ... Was hoping for all girls but love hearing him crow and watch him strut.

I was hoping for girls also....I bought what was supposed to be 2 Leghorn pullets and a speckled Sussex pullet.....what I got was a Cornish X roo, a Cornish X pullet and a Speckled Sussex roo....sigh

My other 5 seem to be most likely girls. It's still early (2 months) but they are nothing like Sabbath. (2 white and 3 red)
