hi BYC I got offered 10 Black sex links at $2 each is that a good deal they are spousal laying a egg a day and a compel months old will see if I can get pics

if they are a couple months old, they are not laying, and at a couple months old, if they are healthy $2 a bird is a very good price.

They won't be as prolific as younger hens, but they should still turn out big brown eggs for you on a fairly regular basis. You may get 3 to 5 eggs a week from each.

If they are Australorps, it's an even better deal. Australorps are regular layers long past their prime. And as a bonus some may lay through the winter and some may go broody, allowing you to hatch or raise chicks without an incubator or brooder.
