Black Sex Link Rooster?

Hi all
long time visitor first time post

I have 5 black sex links we got from TSC in February. I have a feeling that this on is a rooster and not a hen as he/she does not look like the rest at all

The first is a cockerel, but not a black sex link. The males are barred. I'm not sure that you pullet is a black sex link either, normally they have red around the head, neck and sometimes chest.

not yet I think he is trying but sounds more like a hen trying

Thanks Tractor supply... Thats what they were labeled. Wonder what they are. they have a nice bluish green tinge on the feathers

Asian Black cockerel. They look a lot like BSL as chicks.

Totally agree, none of your birds are black sex links. The cockerel may be the Asian Black... Your pullets may be austrolorps.

I'm really not sure on the pullets, the one outside the coop has yellow bleeding through on the legs so not an Australorp. Maybe a Black Jersey Giant.. Do you have any more photos of the pullets?

LOL I should have caught that myself, since I have a BJG and no australorps! LOL
