Black sex link?

TwoCrows told me to check their feet. She said if they had yellow feet pad then they are Jersey Giants butifi they have white feet pads they are Austrolorps. I looked at their feet and they looked to be yellow. She did say they are a bit big for their age, so they may be Jersey Giants. Here are a few pics I took yesterday.

I believe them to be sex links (surely not pure anything) with the mother being a barred or cuckoo and the father being some solid colored bird.

These are much better photos than the one you had up previously and subhanalah is right. These are Black Sex Links (not the usual RIRxBR cross) but definitely BSL (some type of red gene roo x barred or cuckoo hen). The brown feathering on the neck combined with the black legs is a dead giveaway (we couldn't see the brown feathering on the neck in the previous photos). That also explains the greater length in the body and tail.

I'm thinking some sort of game bird. Are the hackles red? They looked silver to me.

The hackles are not red. They are sort of an off white color and only the one hen has them. The other one is all black. Both have a shimmery green tint to their feathers. And I believe they have pea combs. Wish they were laying so I could tell you what color eggs they have, but alas I must wait!
