Black sex links

I searched the threads for a while and cant find a difinitive answer. I know black sex links are normally from a RIR roo and a BR hen but will it work if its reversed.I.E. BR roo and RIR hen. I have a small flock as of right now. 4 Hienz 57, 3 BR, 4 Americana, and 1 RIR.

No, it will not work same way. If the father is Barred Rock all babies will be barred at hatch but because they are mixes will be dificult to separate boys from girls. On good side- your girls will be same vigorous helty birds and good layers like Black Stars and the boys will have good size.
