black sexlink chicks very small

I have two black sexlink chicks that were purchased from murdoch's farm store (they purchase from mcmurray). These babies are sooo small. They are now about a month old and are still so very tiny, but feathering nicely.

Can some black sexlinks just be small and not bantam?

They are very small. They do end up being the size of BRs.

My 2 BSLs are still the smallest of the bunch (2 RSLs and 2 EEs) at 6 weeks. When I got them at a week all 6 were about the same size but the EEs are now particularly big and the blacks are rather small. I had posted a question about it, others had similar experiences but that they caught up later.

How small is small? My three week old ones that I got from Quality Supply (they get them from Dunlap Hatchery ) are my biggest chicks other than the 6 week old Ameraucanas. They're bigger than my brown leghorns or my golden sex-links.
