Black snake hanging around chicken coop.

I guess I responded too fast!
We are out of town and our daughter is watching the house and feeding animals. She walked across a large black snake in our basement garage. She called her mom and asked if I had a fake snake, then it moved. It went to hide and she went to the top of the water heater! Had to call some friends to help her get out. I do not want them in my house! I'll have to tell it to leave. If it does not I will change tactics! Good thing this young generation has a cell phone on them 24-7.

For the coop... my friend was losing eggs to a snake. We blew an egg and filled it with salt. The egg disappeared, and so did the snake.
