we used hydrogen peroxide to clean, then applied povidone Iodine solution, and lastly we sprayed it with Blu-kote. We noticed a big difference after just a few days and she is healed up nicely! I hope this helps.

Hi, I hope you had good success with this. We have the same breed, ready to harvest, and has two of these. I first thought it was pecking and put no peck on the sore, but it is bigger now, deeper and another bird has the same.
