black specks??

Hello every I have found one of my hens comb has black specks all around the base and a few specks on it. I took some pics maybe

all can help me figure out what it is??

Dried blood? Dirt? Bugs?

My guess is that she was dust bathing, and got into something like mud or poo. I would just wash her comb off after dark when she goes to roost.
