Once they hook you it is hard not to have them! I just LOVE mine!

I would keep them inside for at LEAST 3 more weeks to be safe, and even then it would depend on the weather.

My plan is to keep them inside the house for at least 4 more weeks then they will go into a coop that I built in the enclosed pavillion. It can also be heated if necessary but it gives them double protection from the elements. I can start building a small coop/run onto the bigger coop and finish in the Spring. What would be a good size for 3-4 of them. My other coop is 6x4 with a 6x10 foot run and 2 acres to free range. I would like to keep 5-8 hens in there.
Back to these little ones...how old are they right now, can you tell what sex they are? When would I be able to pick them up?

They are 2 weeks old now, and way to young to tell any sexes. Usually it takes until they are about3-6 months old to guess with silkies and showgirls. For pick up info I will send you a PM!
