My baby chicken has been sitting down a lot randomly throughout the day but it still runs a lot to you, walks, eat, drinks and is generally normal except it randomly sits during the day like in the middle of the garden. It isn’t showing pain if you pick it up or anything but it has a weird black spot on its leg. And today I caught my cousin putting it on the floor a little forcefully, as in she kind of suddenly dropped it with a little push. Here’s the spot it’s an unclear picture but yeah

Your photos show a dark spot, but it's not clear from any of them if the scab could harbor an infection.

If these photos are the best you can offer, then you need to be lavish in your descriptions. Is the spot a thin scab flush with the surrounding tissue? Or do you detect swelling under the scab?

How old is your chicken? What kind of surfaces does it walk on? When you cousin handles this chicken, do they always treat it roughly, dropping it onto hard surfaces?

No swelling its just a black spot
I dont know how to describe its just a black scab on the skin.
my chicken is 3 months old it walks on grass, concretes, rocks and there's this small area of the garden with loads of twigs and sharp stuff so maybe it got cut there
I dont let my cousin handle the chickens at all, only pet them if im holding them so that was the first time I saw my cousin holding him.

It may just be a simple minor abrasion without infection. You can spray it with Vetericyn, a wound spray found at feed stores or online. It will keep bacteria under control while promoting new tissue. But keep an eye on it. It should heal in a week. If not, it may be in need of more treatment such as soaking and scab removal to be sure there is no pus which would tell you it's infected.

Thanks a lot
