Black spot on pullet’s beak?

Howdy all!

This is ‘M’. My 8 week old pullet. She’s a California White.

She has this black spot on her beak just above her nostril.

Is this just a chicken coloration thing with this breed or something health related?

She doesn’t seem to have any problems breathing or any drainage. Just this black spot.
I will say she also has some black spotted feathers too so perhaps it’s just her coloring? Thanks!

Is it new or has she always had it?

I’ve just noticed it within the last week or so. No change to her behavior. It’s not a smudge bcs I tried wiping it off.

I looked up fowl pocks but that doesn’t look anything like that. It’s almost like it’s a pigment coloration of her beak like the spots of her feathers? Just making sure it’s nothing I need to pay close attention that is a health concern for the girls.
