Black spots on Blue Leghorn crown

My Blue Leghorn has black spots on her crown. Does anyone know what this is and if I should have her treated?

I agree that seems to be fowl pox. It is a virus spread by mosquitoes. It lasts about a month, and it will eventually clear up without any treatment.
