Black spots on comb....NOT FROSTBITE....photo

I have these black spots on the combs of several of my birds. They are inside with some heat so it cannot be frostbite. Any ideas what this is?

Looks like "peck" marks to me! Anyone else?

Could be fowl pox, but probably just peck marks.

They are being pecked. Make sure there's enough room for them in their coop to roost. They will also peck each other for the "best seat in the house," when they go in for the night, a pecking order issue...which is normal.

Thank you all for your responses but he has been in a cage all alone so I guess I'd better look into fowl pox. Anyone know anything about it?
