Black spots on hens waddles and comb ?

A freind of mine has a hen that has black spots on the hens waddles and comb . He said the hen can barely stand and when it does he said it seems like it has any balance . Any ideas on what this could be ?

My roo had some teeny black spots and when I tried to check them out, I found out they were little scabs from a run in with the neighboring roo (they were fighting thru the pen)...

But if she is having trouble standing, it has to be more than love bites...

could be bugs..could be Pox..
see if the spots rub off.
as far as the weakness...need more info..
describe the droppings..color and consistency.
what all are they fed?
do they have clean water at all times?
have they been wormed?
treated for mites?
get vitamins?
oyster shell?

Pox is usually carried by mosquitoes..so clean up any standing water in the area..
dust for mites..
if they are being bothered by mosquitoes at night..they might not be getting enough sleep..
but check for the other questions..
the hen might be weak from lack of nutrition, worms, and mites.
