black spots on waddle and comb

I'm not sure if my year old hen has always looked like this or not... She is the elusive one who I can never get too close to... Very hard to catch! She is broody right now so I was able to get a good look at her. Is the black on the waddle and comb normal? Thank you in advance for your help!

Looks pretty normal to me, maybe just a wound or something.
I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice it on several other birds, or if she isn't acting normal.
