Good Afternoon All.

I'm new to the chicken raising world and I'm here to learn as much as I can to care for my babies. I thought I was going to be an empty nester as my youngest is heading off to college soon but I've managed to not let that happen. I'm now the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and 6 Black Star babies.

I recently moved to North Carolina and loving it. As for my profession I can't say much as I work in the US Defense Sector, I'll leave it at that. I spend my free time cooking, gardening, DIY projects, volunteering at local animal shelters and anything else that allows me to unwind and forget about work.

Glad to be a part of this group and look forward to learning how to give my chickens the best life possible.
