black sumatras

Can someone help me here,my black sumatra hen's tail feathers are [about] as long and thick as the roosters.I have not seen one yet like that on a hen,just wondering if this is normal.

Feathersite isn't the best place to go to learn about the appearance of different breeds. The majority of the birds I've seen pictured there aren't very good examples.
