Black Widow Spiders?

I'm guessing it's OK for chickens to eat spiders. We have a few Black Widow spiders around our property. DH has sprayed to get rid of most of them, but was wondering if they are poisonous to a chicken (if the chicken eats it, I'm not so worried about a spider attacking the chicken). BTW, don't even have the chicks yet, just thinking ahead...... Thanks!
 
There have been lots of posts about chickens eating black widows without a problem.

I think as long as your not infested with them and they aren't crawling on the chickens they should be fine. The spiders die pretty quick once that beak grabs them, and I don't think they're gonna be able to bit into the beak to poison them

I figure the more spiders they kill the better *gets the heebie jeebies*
