Any adjustment from meal to pellet feed?

I have always fed my chickens the meal form of feed but today was accidentally given the pellet form. I didn't realize it until I dumped the 50# bag into the storage container. While both varieties of feed are nutritionally the same, will my chickens eat the pellets? They free range most days except now when the ground is snow covered so they are used to foraging and pecking for bits of food. I'm wondering how readily they will eat the pellets and if they will eat enough, especially during our current cold weather. Should I get another bag of meal to mix in with the pellets or will the chickens eat the meal and leave the pellets? Thanks for your thoughts!

They'll pout since chickens don't like change, but they'll eat when they're hungry. They'll be fine.

Put some out to see what they do. If they find them scary you can wait it out, or buy the one they are use to to mix it in. They will eat them before they starve to death.
