Its likely a cockerel due to how much comb and wattle development combined with its young age.

Sorry to butt in on this thread but seeing as you were discussing Wyandottes,

I wonder if anyone can sex mine? They are about 12 weeks old, I rescued three of them from pretty poor conditions, I live in Portugal. They have a fair bit of feather loss due to 12 of them being confined in small cage. I was told they were all pullets, but this one in both pics has a more prominent rose comb and wattles the other 2 don't?
