black_cat's Totally Awesome Crazy Flock Thread

Hey everyone!!

I'm black_cat, and you can call me BC, Cat, or black_cat.
I figured it's time to start a flock thread!
I have four chickens, three hermit crabs, and a cat right now. We're also getting a dog!

I don't have any good hermit crab pictures right now, but the three crabs are Coconut, Pirate, and Zigzag.

We're looking at dogs right now. Whole family's on board, but all the dogs were snatched up last spring. There are a bunch that we're looking at. We're not sure if we're going to get a puppy or a rescue or a rescue puppy.

Duncan smells amazing and has silky soft fur. Why is this? He had a bath last night because he was super stinky. He denies that this bath had any benefits.

I have a flock of 50 chickens and growing.... Not all of them have names except a few favorites. I have a 3 yr old Buff Orpington named Red who is my favorite. Red is a loud mouth and incredibly nosy... If you are outside doing something, she has to be in the middle of it and giving you her two cents the entire time.

In addition to the chickens, we have 7 ducks, 2 goats, 4 horses, 3 indoor cats, and 1 dog.... All of whom, along with the chickens, are incredibly spoiled. They eat better than the humans, I think. And as you can imagine, my monthly feed bill is enormous....
