Blackhead in Northern Alabama?

Thinking about getting a couple of turkeys but don’t want to compromise my girls. Is blackhead a problem in the Huntsville/Northern Alabama area?

Blackhead is carried by chickens without symptoms. Stays in the soil for decades.
