Blackhead Prevention and Cure

Hi, I'm a newbie, and have a few questions about keeping turkeys safe from blackhead and how to cure them if they get it. First off, how can you tell if a turkey has blackhead, what are the symptoms? I have chickens and i'm interested in raising turkeys as well. Is there any way you can have them together without getting blackhead? I know turkeys are susceptible to disease from chickens when they are young.

Also, how do you know your soil doesn't have blackhead? The last question, if a turkey has it, how do you cure it (if it is curable)? Any help is appreciated!
