most of the time blackouts don't bother me because it only delays the hatch as long as the blackout, and it is not anything to worry about. Last night they had a planned blackout that was to last 5 hrs. from 12 am to 5 am. at 1:30 I checked the eggs they were room temp and cold. since they were due to hatch in 3/4 days I could not hope they would be fine. (I don't lockdown and I dry hatch anyway) I popped the 2 eggs in a thin oven hand mitt and cuddled them the rest of the night.(I am a light sleeper and my 2 kids survived so... okay) in the morning I candled and they were dancing in their egg, I put them back in their bator.
