My black sexlink hen is almost 24 weeks and she still hasnt started laying eggs. Is she just slow or is there something wrong

What all and how exactly are you feeding?

I live in northern Florida, I don't have any laying chickens and we just started all flock feed 1 or 2 weeks ago. I also feed them a few pieces of fruit every few days

I do have some oyster shells, I haven't fed them any because I was nervous that they'd get too much protein

Go ahead and put it out for them, in a separate dish. They really don't eat it unless they need it

Ummm...oyster shells do not have any protein.
