I'm cleaning my duck pens with bleach in the water... The pen is inside a building. will it hurt my ducks to be on the other end of a ten foot pen... If I leave a door open for some nice fresh air

Well I hope it was okay... bleached everything out but the ducks... wall floors.. the works...Left the door wide open and didn't use too strong of a solution and rinsed it all down afterwards.... I was always afraid to use bleach in there... but used soap and water before... Maybe every other washing I should bleach.

I think it would be okay as long as there is good ventilation! I like hydrogen peroxide because it is just as good as a disinfectant, it's cheaper, there are no fumes and instead of being concerned about an animal drinking it and it being fatal they will throw up instead!

I will use that next time. I dried it all with a old towel after I rinsed it, so I think it should be okay.
