I put about a half a cup of bleach in the pool that I am setting up for my ducks for them to play in tomorrow. I made sure it was diluted in 4.5 gallons of water befor I put it in the pool tonight. I added about another 10 gallons of water in to it.

Then As the great state of New York has been doing to me today it decided to start pouring rain on my head so I couldn’t do anything else with it tonight. If my ducks manage to bully their way out of their temporary duck house I have them in is this pool water going to really hurt the ducks at this dilution?

Why are you putting bleach in there in the first place??? I know you are trying to keep bacteria killed, but I don't think that is necessary.
I'm not a chemist,,,, but I think that 1/2 cup of water into 15 gallons is stronger solution than a people swimming pool is kept at. :idunno
It is OK to use a solution of bleach, during cleaning, and then rinse out with fresh water. Then fill with clean fresh water. Your ducks will soil the water quickly regardless. Change out the water when you feel not comfortable with the clarity.

the pool looked nasty after being out all winter buried in snow. So I was trying to clean all the crap that wild critters could have added to it. I was able to go out when the rain stopped and get it taken care of and refilled so all should be good.
my little duckies have been break out kings the last two weeks and I wasn’t sure if I was going to beat them to the pool. This will be their first day with it this year I am sure they will be excited.

I wouldn't use bleach, Ducks are used to swimming in nasty things..Just clean the pool out well and they will be fine. Here is a nasty pond my ducks were swimming in with no ill effects.

Now that doesnt mean alot more will hurt you, We have all drank pool water by accident, but even a swimming pool is 6-12 Parts Per Million
thats 12 drops for every million drops

Mine tend to play in the sewer spray. Before you uck, I have an on-site treatment plant and a license. It doesn't hurt them but it does take the oils off. I prefer they don't do it.
Great point about the oils being washed away by detergents and cleaners
