Bleeding Butt

I just cleared the pasty butt of one of my day old chicks and it started to bleed is that normal? I'm a little freaked out I don't want to hurt the little guy!

If it is only from a few feathers being pulled I would also add some baby oil so you won't get that build up again.

i'm having the problem with other chicks pecking at one certain chick.. all around his butt is bare.. I've isolated him and am hoping that will help...any suggestions welcome
