UPDATE: Our bully hen has for the most part backed off!!
We increased the protein and gave her some alone time with occasional supervised mingling with the others, and she's mostly behaving much better. She still has a few outbursts but not nearly as brutal or as relentless, and they're becoming fewer and fewer. Buttons has scabbed over and is healing well. We've added some extra hiding places, roosts, etc. in case Buttons needs to get away for whatever reason or she feels uncomfortable.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions and support!! We're really glad Zip was able to get over her moodiness and the flock can stay together.
