Black Australorp Rooster 32 weeks old
Eating and drinking normally
symptoms about a week ... getting worse
Nothing unusual happened to my knowledge
poop looks normal
neosporin and rooster booster have been applied to comb
We do not have a vet in our area so we must treat ourselves
pine shavings are used for the bedding

Family on vacation for a week. Returned to BA with small white dots on combs. Under close examination realized that the comb tips are bleeding.

HELP.... has anyone ever seen this before. What is it?

Sorry, I can't really see from those photos what you're looking at. I do know fowl pox has been very prevalent here in Texas in the last few weeks; could these spots be the beginning of that?

we have already gone through fowl pox, and these look different. They look like white mold or dots with a blackish edge....

close ups.....

I did not get a photo of the blackish looking area.... but these two photos show some of the blood and one of the white spots

Any Ideas?

I don't know this, but i wonder if those white spots could be simply scars from the recent fowl pox and scuffling with other roosters?

Anyone know?

Their is only one rooster and he is one of the bleeding combs. The bleeding has stopped but the white spots are still there?
