one of my hens scraped her middle toe and its bleeding, once they went to bed I went out and washed it off and put some peroxide on her toe but she kept trying to get away from me. I noticed it was still bleeding so I used a styptic stick on it to try to stop the bleeding but at that point she was just putting her leg up in her feathers.
Is there a danger of her bleeding to much over night or should I go get her and bring her inside to bandage her foot?
The scrap is on her knuckle and looks like she just scraped it on the driveway.
Im new at chicken first aid! :)

Most scrapes will clot off in 2-3 minutes. You can go out with a flashlight in the dark so she will stay alseep and just look around the foot to make sure there is no blood. I probably wouldn't do anything more to it, or the clot may come off.

Okay ill leave it. I had gone out with a flashlight but it woke them up. Thanx! I'll probably check once more before I go to bed. The Problem was that she was sandwiched between two other chickens so it was hard to get to her lol
