hi group, have posted this on other sites, but have gotten few answers.
i have a pair of luzon bleeding heart doves
they are 2 years old.
the female seems to breathe though her mouth,in like gulps/gasps.
was told she has airsack mites and to treat with "scat"
hve put 5-6 drops under her wing,3 times ,4-5 weeks apart.bt she still gasps for air.
should i give a bigger dose?[am scared to over dose],or is there another treatment?,or does she have someting else?
she seems to gasp more when temps rise.
she eats/preens as normal, but she is clearly in distress
thanks
gary
