bleeding toe

my buff, rosie fell off the roof of her coop, and got her nail stuck in the chicken wire of the coop. started to bleed i panicked,( being it was my first injury with my girls) i put neosporin on it and but her in a crate in the house. i am afraid of the others goin after her. is this all i should do ?? should i cut the nail?? is she ok to go back out with the others in the morning?? worried chicken momma.....

You want to stop the bleeding. You may be able to do this with corn starch or spider webs if you don't have a styptic pencil or powder.

thanks.. i used flour ..stopped bleeding. i just dont know if i should keep her away from the others tomorrow.
