Bleeding week old turkeys

Has anyone seen this in baby turkeys before? This is my 16th batch of poults in 26 years and I've never encountered it before. In the past 5 hours we have found 8 poults bleeding from the area around their vent, with all tail feathers missing and most of surrounding down pulled out or caked with blood. Help please!

They are pecking each other. Too much heat, crowded conditions can both cause this problem.

That's pretty bad, I agree, too crowded, too much heat, find out who's doing it and separate, and I would use blue kote, and sometimes switching to a red colored bulb, though if it's too much heat you have to raise the bulb and ventilated.
