Is blended asparagus okay to feed my chickens?

It won't hurt them but it may affect the taste of the eggs.

Hmmm. Not sure I want to eat asparagus eggs! I really don't like asparagus, but my wife does. She bought more than she could eat before it started getting limp. So we thought maybe instead of throwing it out, we could give it to the chickens.
