Hello everyone we are the Kalb family and we live in Avon IN. We decided last year it would be a great idea to get our kids(8-10) a coop with a few chickens so we bought 5 babies from a friend who are now 7 months and laying along with purchasing 5 baby silkies 3 weeks ago. We have never owned chickens but love animals and the kids are really loving collecting the eggs and playing with and feeding them. We are going to extend our small coop soon and I will be looking for ideas on here
