Blind Baby Duck

Have any of you ever dealt with a blind duckling? I have one who I got for free from TSC and he has no eyes, he went to the vet today and is healthy other than the eye thing. The other babies watch over him and help him find food and water.

I have not, but I think some here have dealt with special needs ducks. Proud of you for taking the little one in.

I have heard that blind ducks will never be able to free range; they will always have to be penned with their food, water and shelter always in a constant spot. They should also have a buddy with them to help them around and keep them company. Good for you for taking in this poor duckling
