blind chick?

I knoticed that there is a grayish spot in my day old chick's eye, he/she has been keeping it closed, but opens it when I come to the brooder box. Is the eye blind?

have you got a photo? is it in both eyes or just one? she could well be blind. Ive seen it before it kinda reminds me of a cateract/ glycoma when I see it
