I have some English Whites that seem to have cataracts. They get along fine and can eat etc, but they can't see a thing. I can almost touch their faces and eyes without any reaction from them. Has anyone else had this issue?
They hatch out normal and seem to go blind over time. I'm assuming it's a genetic issue and that I just need to "clean house" so to speak. My concern is that all my birds are from a mixed pen, so even though the tuxes aren't blind they still could carry the bad gene.
