blind hen

one of my hens has gone bind in one eye there is no trauma for me to see and other than this she is well . does any one have any ideas as to why

I had a silkie hen who went blind shortly after she sat on some eggs. I think she took her job too seriously and didn't eat enough causing a vitamin deficiency. I searched everywhere for answers and nothing that made sense except that.
