Blind runner duck

I've been thinking about these three ducks all night at work. The more research I do the more I believe that Bentley is a boy (that just doesn't have his drake feathers) So that leaves me with two drakes and one female, which obviously will not work. So I Imagine I should start tomorrow setting up for Nelson to have his own complete duck run next to the pair of Pekins... WIll he be content living next to them or do I go and find him a female friend (young or old?) Then if It turns out for some reason both Pekins are girls I would have a one to three ratio with Nelson as the only drake and hopefully they could all live happily together....

If Bentley is a female not male, then I don't imagine they would have problems being with Nelson and his future lady friend.

They weren't as swollen this morning when I went out to see him before work! He actually all around doesn't look like such a mess anymore. He has himself groomed quite nicely.

I just have to say it again, I'm in love. and those lil quacks are like when a cat purrs, very content.

My little Ducktopia is almost complete! Just have to finish Nelson's swimming area tomorrow afternoon. But as of now he is all moved in. He seems like he has learned his way around and is no longer bumping into things in there. But Nelson and Petri are just going at it along the barrier (which did make uneven so no one can stick there head and necks through). Pacing, she's squawking her head off and just flat out taunting him. Meanwhile poor Bentley just sits back and every once in a while tries to herd Petri away from the wall. Hopefully they will all settle down soon.

So I am now officially on the look out for one or two females for Nelson, which do you guys think is best? One or two. I contacted a duck rescue called Fred & Friends Inc. and they are going to try to locate me a girl that is looking for a home.
